Arrival in Chengdu
Meet your guide at Chengdu Tianfu International Airport upon arrival. Transfer to your hotel for check-in and enjoy time to rest or take a first stroll through the city.
- Day 2
Giant Pandas & Chengdu Life
Visit the Giant Panda Breeding Center in the morning for the best viewing. Afterward, explore People’s Park and experience a traditional tea house. Evening stroll along Jinli Ancient Street.
- Day 3
Leshan Giant Buddha
Full-day excursion to Leshan to see the world’s largest stone Buddha. Take a boat ride for the best panoramic view, then climb the cliff path for a closer look. Return to Chengdu in the evening.
- Day 4
Chengdu to Jiuzhaigou
Take a morning flight to Jiuzhaigou Huanglong Airport. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel near the park entrance. Enjoy the crisp mountain air and prepare for two full days of exploration.

Jiuzhaigou Valley — Day 1
Spend a full day exploring Jiuzhaigou National Park. Visit Shuzheng Waterfall, Tiger Lake, and Rhinoceros Lake. Ride the park shuttle between scenic spots and walk the wooden boardwalks through pristine forest.

Jiuzhaigou Valley — Day 2
Continue exploring the upper reaches of Jiuzhaigou. Visit Five Flower Lake, Pearl Shoal Waterfall, and Nuorilang Waterfall — some of the park’s most photographed spots.

Huanglong Scenic Area
Visit Huanglong (Yellow Dragon) Scenic Area, famous for its colorful travertine pools cascading down a mountain valley. Afternoon flight back to Chengdu.

Chengdu Culture & Cuisine
Morning visit to Wuhou Shrine and the ancient Kuanzhai Alley. Afternoon Sichuan cooking class — learn to make authentic dishes. Evening enjoy a traditional Sichuan opera performance.
- Day 9
Dujiangyan Irrigation System
Day trip to Dujiangyan, a UNESCO-listed ancient irrigation system still in use after 2,000 years. Visit the Panda Valley to see semi-wild pandas in a natural setting. Farewell dinner in Chengdu.
- Day 10
Departure from Chengdu
After breakfast, enjoy some free time before your transfer to Chengdu Tianfu International Airport for departure.

The park sits between 2,000 and 3,000 meters (6,500–9,800 feet). Most visitors acclimatize without issues. We recommend taking it easy on the first day.
Will I see pandas up close?
Yes! The Chengdu Giant Panda Breeding Center offers excellent close-up viewing. Panda Valley at Dujiangyan shows pandas in a more natural, semi-wild environment.
What is Sichuan food like?
Sichuan cuisine is famous for its bold, spicy flavors featuring Sichuan pepper (málà). However, not every dish is spicy — there is a wide variety including mild and sweet dishes.
