Arrival in Beijing
Your local guide will meet you at Beijing Capital International Airport upon arrival and transfer you to your hotel for check-in. After the journey, enjoy some time to rest and unwind.
- Day 2
Imperial Beijing
After breakfast, begin your exploration of Beijing’s historic heart. Visit the Temple of Heaven, a masterpiece of Ming architecture and a symbol of ancient Chinese cosmology. Continue to Tiananmen Square, one of the world’s largest and most historically significant public squares. Then enter The Palace Museum, also known as the Forbidden City, to discover the grandeur of imperial China. Later, stroll along Wangfujing Street, one of Beijing’s most famous shopping and cultural streets.

The Great Wall at Badaling
Today, travel to the famous Badaling section of the Great Wall, one of China’s most iconic landmarks. Walk along the ancient stone ramparts and enjoy sweeping mountain views. Later, visit Olympic Park, home to modern architectural landmarks such as the Bird’s Nest Stadium and Water Cube.

High-speed train to Xi’an
After breakfast, board a high-speed bullet train to Xi’an for a scenic journey of approximately 5 to 6 hours. Upon arrival, meet your local guide and transfer to your hotel for check-in. Spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Terracotta Warriors
Today, discover the ancient glory of Xi’an. Visit the world-famous Terracotta Warriors, an underground army of thousands of life-sized soldiers built for China’s first emperor. Then continue to Lishan Beacon, a scenic and historic site linked to the Qin Dynasty, known for its mountain views and cultural legends.

Xi’an old city

High-speed train to Hangzhou
After breakfast, travel by high-speed train to Hangzhou. Upon arrival, explore the elegant beauty of West Lake (Xi Hu), a UNESCO World Heritage Site famed for its poetic scenery. Then visit Hefang Street, a historic commercial street rich in local culture and traditional charm.

Longjing tea & on to Shanghai
Begin the day in Hangzhou’s scenic Longjing tea fields, famous for producing China’s most celebrated green tea. Later continue to Shanghai and visit the Oriental Pearl Tower (Dongfang Mingzhu), one of the city’s best-known modern landmarks. In the evening, enjoy a memorable Huangpu River Cruise with dazzling skyline views.

Shanghai highlights
Today, explore Shanghai’s blend of heritage and modernity. Walk along Wukang Road, a charming tree-lined street in the former French Concession. Visit Sinan Mansions, a beautifully restored enclave of historic villas. Continue to Nanjing Lu (Nanjing Road), Shanghai’s famous shopping boulevard. Then discover Chenghuang Miao (Yuyuan Garden) in the old city area before ending at The Bund, the city’s most iconic waterfront promenade.

Departure from Shanghai
After breakfast, enjoy some free time to relax or explore at your own pace before your transfer to Pudong International Airport for departure.
