Your guide meets you at Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport. Transfer to your hotel in the city center. Evening walk to a rooftop viewpoint for your first look at Chongqing’s spectacular night skyline.
Visit Ciqikou Old Town in the morning. Then explore the Three Gorges Museum for fascinating context on the Yangtze. Afternoon ride the Yangtze River Cableway for skyline views. Evening enjoy authentic Chongqing hot pot at a local favorite restaurant.
Drive to Wulong (approx. 2.5 hours). Explore the Three Natural Bridges, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Walk the canyon floor beneath massive limestone arches that tower overhead. Visit the filming location of Transformers 4.
Morning visit to Furong Cave, one of the world’s most spectacular show caves with massive chambers and incredible formations. Afternoon drive back to Chongqing. Evening free to explore the lively Hongyadong area.
After breakfast, enjoy some free time before your transfer to Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport for departure.

Yes! Chongqing is famously known as the ‘Mountain City’ with roads that wind up and down steep hills. It’s also known for its unique layered urban landscape where ground floors of one building may be the 10th floor of another.
Approximately 2.5 hours by car each way via modern expressway. The drive itself is scenic through rolling hills and karst landscapes.
Traditional Chongqing hot pot is famously spicy and numbing (málà). However, most restaurants offer mild broth options and your guide can help you navigate the menu.

Absolutely! Chongqing is a major transportation hub well-connected to Chengdu, Xi’an, and Zhangjiajie, making it an excellent 5-day add-on to a longer China itinerary.
